Premise: After the American-born prima ballerina of the Royal London retires in shame, she embarks upon her only career option: teaching ballet to small children at a dodgy dance school in Tower Hamlets, where the little girls are more impressed by their sexy hip-hop instructor than they are her world-renowned credits, but with the advice of the crippled receptionist with a bizarrely positive outlook on life, she decides to set some grown up dreams now that her childhood dreams are over.

Premise: When a socially marginal, 34-year-old Barnes and Nobles book clerk and a brazen 15-year-old fangirl put their lives on hold to follow a musician around the country on his last tour, an unexpected friendship develops as the girls attempt to meet their idol, who is nothing like what they have expected him to be.
Why this story?: Being a fangirl can lead to a life unlived. A life spent in daydreams. In this film, our hero learns the importance of the real relationships around her, and inadvertentally discovers her own artistic potential. It's a story that I hope would inspire the fangirls/boys to recognize their own abilities as much as they do their idols.
Besides being an unabashed music fan, I worked at a record label for seven years, and my father is a professional musician. This is a subject matter I know intimately, and from many angles. It's a story I am uniquely qualified to tell.

Premise: Spirits don't always haunt places, they often latch onto the mind of one still living. We tend to label this situation "insanity."
Shortly after she returns home to Alabama from Afghanistan, a crippled female veteran sniper unwittingly kills a teenager in a mugging gone wrong, spawning a series of hauntings from the ghosts of her war victims. An experimental new therapy for PTSD only empowers the spirits, so she turns to military tactic. But under the guidance of the ghost of her twisted former commander, she is tricked into carrying out a killing spree.
Pitch: A war story told in the genre of a horror film, to make the audience experience the terror a soldier with PTSD actually feels.
